Neighbors
Acquiring Neighbors is an important part of the game. 100 neighbors is a good goal for most people. Advanced players may have several hundred. Create a Farmville group in your friends list.
Find new neighbors by searching for FarmVille groups. You will find many eager people who want to be your neighbor there.
Figure out when your best neighbors normally play the game. Have their profile pages open and watch for updates.
Supporting your neighbors gets you ahead in a hurry and in the long run.
Gifts
Giving is a very important part of FarmVille. Give gifts often. Offer bonuses when offered by the game. Post to your wall often. You may want to limit to just other Farmville players.
To get you must give. Since you can only give 30 (?) gifts a day, you must give to active neighbors who are likely to give back.
Planting and Harvesting
Devote at least half your farm to crops. To really get ahead, play twice a day and plant 8 to 12 hr crops. Pay attention to how many coins per day your crops will yield. Here is a chart of the crops that produce the most coins per day in FarmVille. Remember that crops will wither if you wait too long to harvest them. A 2 hour crop needs to be harvested within 4 hours from the time of planting.
Only collect animals that yield 50 coins a day or more (unless you are particularly attracted to them and want them for decoration). The exception is chickens because they lay eggs which can be very valuable. Foals, Calves, Bulls, Turkeys, and animals you have to pay money for, are the most profitable animals. Here are the top 20 animals ranked by Coins per day.
Trees do not yield much per day. Limit your tree inventory. The Olive tree pays the most, but only 28 coins a day.
Buying Houses and Decorations
You can level up and collect coins and XP by buying houses or other buildings. Only buy decorations that you feel will significantly add to your enjoyment of your farm.
Quarantine Your Avatar
Restricting the movement of your avatar will speed up your game play considerably. Put up a fence or use hay bales to keep them in their home position (the center of your farm). Keep in mind this position changes each time you expand your farm.
Free trial for Mac and Windows.
Pay only $19 if you decide to keep it. |
